 The SuperSpecial stage of the Italian Baja is completed. According to unofficial results, the winner was dutchman Tonnie van Deijne. Strategically a bit slower was the G-Force crew of Boris Gadasin/Vladimir Demyanenko (+5.3 sec). Third was the czech Miroslav Zapletal (+8.9). Full review coming later tonight...

 During the scrutineering Boris' new car, nominated few minutes ago at the administrative checks as Nissan G-Force, attracted no less attention than the factory-built prototype of Tonnie van Deijne. Moreover, Tonnie himself paid big interest to the car of his major rival - as it turned out he hadn't known before the race that there was such a big and powerful engine now...

 The administrative checks and the scrutineereing concluded, and the cars of participants are now placed in the indoor Parc Ferme in Pordenone. A special convoy will be organised at 3pm from the Pordenone Fiere to the official start ceremony in Tagliomente.
